The impact of IMAN's work cannot always be
measured in numbers, but it is evident in the
conversations we shape and the policies we inform.
Over the past decade, IMAN has briefed Malaysia's government,
engaged with parliamentarians, and presented findings to foreign
governments and leading international organisations, including
the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Our insights have supported policymakers, civil society, and
political parties in crafting responses that are not only
data-driven but also grounded in humanity.
The COVID-19 pandemic
marked a turning point: IMAN
launched initiatives on the
Women, Peace, and Security
(WPS) agenda, which later
expanded into work on Youth,
Peace, and Security (YPS).
Today, these themes shape
our approach to
nation-building and
underscore a simple
truth —the future lies in
peacebuilding.
